Import a PDF or Word resume and review the result
Bring existing text into editable sections without replacing your current draft.

Choose a text-based file
Open Import in the studio and choose a PDF or DOCX file up to 5 MB. Use a document with selectable text. A scan or photograph may contain no usable text; OCR is not included. You can paste text or enter it manually instead.
Let the file finish processing
Guests can read PDF/DOCX files in the browser without uploading them: up to 5 MB, 20 PDF pages and 20,000 extracted characters. Closing the dialog cancels guest parsing; select the file again to retry. Signed-in queued file imports require a verified account. Closing the dialog stops the browser from waiting, but does not cancel an accepted job. Reopen Import and use Recent file imports to recover available work. Jobs and extracted results are available for up to 30 minutes; the original upload is cleared after processing.
Check the proposed sections
Review your name and contact information, then each experience, education, and skills section. Confirm dates and organization names against the source text. Columns and unusual headings can confuse extraction. Keep ambiguous text for manual correction rather than accepting a guessed role or date.
Create a separate draft
Accept the reviewed import to create another resume. Your original remains in the resume selector. Reapply the template and spacing you want: importing recovers content, not the source document’s exact visual design.
