Export a resume as PDF, Word, text, or Markdown

Choose the requested format and check the saved revision before downloading.

Save and review first

Sign in, wait for cloud saving to finish, and review the selected resume. Official exports require active export access. All four formats follow that policy. Choose a monthly or annual subscription in My resumes; free editing and preview remain available.

Choose the employer’s requested format

PDF uses the same layout rules as the preview, with selectable text and embedded fonts. Word DOCX contains editable headings, paragraphs, and bullets; page breaks can differ between word processors. Plain text removes visual styling. Markdown keeps a text-based heading and content structure.

Wait for document preparation

PDF and Word files are prepared as background jobs. If you close the dialog or lose the connection, reopen the same export for the same account, saved revision, and format to resume an available request. Jobs expire after 30 minutes; after expiry you may need to request the export again.

Open the downloaded file

Inspect every page, test links, and check that your contact information and final bullet are present. Try selecting and copying the text in reading order. Open a Word file in the application you will use before submitting it. Follow the employer’s file instructions; no template guarantees compatibility with every hiring system.
