Your work.
Your information.
This page explains how the workspace handles drafts, account information, documents, provider requests, and billing.
RoleFuel and GetResumePro are operated by MakerSolo. For questions about your information, email [email protected].
Guest drafts and account saving
Guest drafts are stored in this browser on this device. Clearing site data can remove them. Signed-in resumes, saved versions, achievements, and workflow data are stored in the application database. RoleFuel and GetResumePro share an account database; browser-only copies and sessions are separate for each domain. Avoid entering sensitive information on a shared device.
Sign-in and sessions
Google sign-in and email links identify your account. Account and session records support authentication; email delivery uses the configured email service. Authentication cookies maintain your signed-in session. Guest draft storage is separate from account sessions.
Marketing email preferences
Resume tips and product updates from RoleFuel and GetResumePro are optional. The signup choice is unchecked by default, and you can change it in account settings or unsubscribe from a marketing email. We record your choice, the consent wording version, when you opted in, and whether the choice came from signup or account settings. Signing in or paying does not grant marketing consent.
When Brevo contact synchronization is enabled, new verified accounts are added with their email address, observed brand memberships, billing status and plan, education-discount eligibility, and marketing preference. Resume content and imported profiles are not included. Existing unsubscribe and suppression settings are preserved. This synchronization does not itself send marketing emails. Account deletion schedules removal of contacts it created; for a pre-existing Brevo contact, it clears our account metadata. Provider cleanup can be delayed by an outage, and opaque contact references are retained until cleanup completes.
Document import and export
Guest PDF/DOCX imports are read in this browser without uploading the original file. Extracted text is kept in the guest draft only after you accept the import. Closing the import dialog cancels local processing. With signed-in queued processing enabled, uploads and extracted text or generated files are stored privately with the job for up to 30 minutes of retrieval access. Original input is cleared after processing. The worker and new-job admission delete expired rows; an outage can delay physical cleanup. Imports require review before creating a separate resume.
External services
When configured and requested, AI interviews and tailoring send the supplied answers or experience and job description to the configured AI provider (OpenAI or Groq). LinkedIn URL import sends the confirmed profile URL to Apify. Verified accounts and allowances are required. The dialogs explain these transfers before submission. Provider request results and usage records are stored with the account; third-party handling is separate from local account deletion.
Hosted resume links
Publishing saves a selected revision separately from later draft edits. An unlisted link is readable by anyone who has its address. Owners can replace, disable, or rotate it and control recipient PDF downloads. Published snapshots and prepared PDFs remain stored until removed with their resume/account, even when the link is disabled or access expires. Noindex is a search instruction, not access control. Files already downloaded cannot be recalled.
Deleting an account
My resumes includes account deletion with explicit confirmation and a recent sign-in requirement. It deletes cloud resumes, versions, achievements, account-linked provider records, temporary jobs and hosted publications across both brands, and ends sessions. Browser-only guest copies, downloaded files, third-party records and existing backups are separate. This page does not promise a specific backup expiry period or deletion of records held by third-party services.
We retain the deleted account ID and deletion time as a recovery record. It contains no name, email address or resume content. This record supports identifying deleted accounts when recovering older backups.
Some application billing and audit records remain after account deletion for financial reconciliation. These include receipt, refund, customer-reference, and operator-action identifiers, amounts, timestamps, and recorded reasons. Deleting account content does not erase this financial ledger. This page does not specify a retention duration for those records.
Payments and subscriptions
Stripe processes subscription checkout and billing management. The application stores account-to-customer references, subscription and payment status, paid-access periods, and billing events needed to reconcile access. Account deletion removes the Stripe customer and cancels active subscriptions; it does not automatically refund payments or remove records Stripe retains. Payment details entered in Stripe are handled by Stripe.
